Guedes: "It's very important that we continue like this"
Gonçalo Guedes scored the winning goal against Elche CF, and has eleven strikes in LaLiga this season. After the match, the Portuguese talked to VCF MEDIA.
The match
We knew that it was going to be difficult, but I think that we should have done a little more: Had the ball more, had more chances and not suffered so much. The most important thing is that, in the end, we got the three points and continued the good run that we've had in the last four games in all competitions, with three wins and a draw. It's very important that we continue like this, and try to move as high up the table as possible.
His goal
The best chance that we had to score, I didn't put away, whilst I scored the most difficult one. That's the way it goes. I try to always do my best, and today I was fortunate enough to help the team with a goal. The most important thing is that the team return home very calm tonight. We will rest up and make the most of some well-deserved days off.
The support of the fans
"The fans, as always, gave us a boost. It helps us a lot. Having the fans with us helps us and it's very good for them that we got the three points. We gave everything and we won."
